Project Overview
Manastik is a teleneurology platform built for dementia care connecting patients, caregivers, and clinicians in one unified experience.
The platform spans three parallel apps for patients, caregivers, and doctors designed to work as a single coherent system. This case study focuses on the teleconsultation flow, designed caregiver-first.
Defining the real problem: fragmented care, not just limited access
Dementia is one of the most underserved areas in Indian healthcare. The numbers were unsettling.

The Rollercoaster of forming the architecture

The Rollercoaster of forming the architecture
Rebuilding around caregivers wasn't a small change. It meant reconsidering who the primary account holder was, how notifications were structured, and how three parallel apps stayed coherent — all at once.

Due to NDA restrictions, all screens shown have been recreated. The flows represent the actual design decisions; the visual execution has been reconstructed.

Some Card Explorations
The doctor listing card was one of the smallest components in the system and one of the most contested.
The Seamless Teleconsultation Journey
Discovery
Hybrid Care Focus Research showed a need for both online and offline modes. We prioritized distance and ratings in the hierarchy, using the "Know More" drawer to provide trust signals without breaking the search flow.

Systems Thinking Beyond Teleconsultation
Teleconsultation was the first thing we shipped.
But it was never the whole idea. The problem wasn't only that caregivers struggled to access good doctors. It was that even after a good consultation, the recommendations fell apart in daily life.
Flexible streak rules
Dementia care doesn't follow a perfect schedule — and the app doesn't pretend it does. Missed days don't reset progress.

AI-Assisted Habit Tracker
Every appointment automatically updates the patient's daily routine, giving caregivers a structured view of what the day should look like.
